Biography
Ingra de Souza Liberato is a Brazilian actress. The daughter of filmmakers, Ingra made her film debut at the age of 7, playing the role of a mermaid in the short film Ementário (1973), directed by her father Chico Liberato with a script by her mother Alba Liberato. She worked in highly successful soap operas on the now-defunct Rede Manchete, such as Pantanal and A História de Ana Raio e Zé Trovão, and then moved to Rede Globo. In 2002, she moved to Porto Alegre. She was married for five years to director Jayme Monjardim and for eleven years to musician Duca Leindecker, from the band Cidadão Quem and Pouca Vogal, with whom she has a son, Guilherme (2003). In 2007, she received the Kikito award in the category of best actress for her performance in the film Valsa para Bruno Stein at the Gramado Festival. In 2013, she returned to Rio de Janeiro, resuming her acting career in the Rio-São Paulo axis. In 2016, he began creating and writing scripts for documentary series and wrote his first book, O Medo do Sucesso, published by L&PM, where he exposes the successes and mistakes in his artistic career.
