TV reporter Wei Haiyi (Played by Maggie Shao) interviews the cage house where the urban poor live, and meets the young Ma Zhongbao (Wen Zhaolun). Zhongbao grew up in a cage house since childhood, indulged in reading all day long, and his personality was extremely closed.
