In the far future, Earth is threatened by the evil Emperor Zing and his alien hordes. To defend the planet, the brilliant scientist Dr. Otto creates the Mighty Orbots, a team of five powerful robots. These robots can combine to form a single, giant super-robot, the Mighty Orbots, to battle Zing's forces and protect humanity.
