In the year 2077, a deadly virus is spreading across the globe, threatening to wipe out humanity. A desperate government enlists the help of a skilled but disgraced soldier, Captain Eva Rostova, to lead a suicide mission into the past. Her objective: to prevent the virus from ever being created. She must travel back to the early 21st century and eliminate the scientist responsible for its genesis, facing temporal paradoxes and ruthless adversaries along the way.
