In an alternate reality of the early 20th century, a mystical meteorite falls to Earth, bestowing a group of soldiers with supernatural powers. Led by Prince Vladimir, these 'Guardians of the Fatherland' must band together to protect their nation from a shadowy, ancient enemy threatening to plunge the world into chaos. Their powers, however, come with a great cost, forcing them to confront their own inner demons as well as the external threat.
