Song Qingwu was forced to marry the eldest Li grandson, Li Yan, by her father who used her ill mother as leverage. Li Yan has a secret lover and hates Song Qingwu, whom he married in order to receive his grandfather's inheritance. One night, Song Qingwu receives an ultimatum—she needs to get pregnant by the end of the month in order for her mother to receive treatment. That night, Song Qingwu sees Li Yan's car parked outside the Song family home and decides to get in and seduce him. She spends the night with him, only to discover in the morning that she slept with the wrong man. During a family gathering, she learns that the man she slept with is actually Li Yan's uncle, Li Hanxiao, the man who controls the Li family. To save her mother, Song Qingwu changes her target—in the hopes of getting pregnant, she slowly entraps Li Hanxiao into her web of seduction.
