Plot Summary

In the Depression era, petty criminal Bowie Bowers escapes from prison and falls in with Keechie and T-Bone, a young couple on the run. As their lives become increasingly entangled with theft and violence, Bowie and Keechie develop a deep, albeit troubled, romance.
