Dan Nichita is a young rock singer who enjoys success, appreciates the pleasures of life, and especially romantic adventures. He lives in the moment, knowing that he has a powerful father behind him, Alexandru Nichita, the owner of a chain of casinos, who would like his son to become more responsible and serious. What his father cannot achieve, perhaps love will? Because Dan will fall in love with Daria, a young orphan who has finished high school and wants to become a ballerina. Thanks to the kindness of a good-hearted man, Gicu Timofte, the old high school librarian, Daria lives in the library. He protects her from the cruelty of the librarian Olivia Muscalu, a mean and sharp-tongued woman.
