The Invasion

In Washington D.C., psychologist Carol Bennell notices a disturbing pattern in her patients: they all claim to have lost their emotions after a strange extraterrestrial contagion, transmitted by a meteor shower, begins to infect humanity. As the epidemic spreads, turning people into emotionless beings controlled by an alien intelligence, Carol races against time to protect her son and find a cure before she too succumbs.

The Invasion received largely negative reviews from critics, who found the film to be a poorly executed and confusing remake of previous "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" films.
