Ryuko Matoi, a fierce young woman wielding a giant scissor blade, transfers to Honnouji Academy in search of her father's killer. The academy is ruled by the iron fist of student council president Satsuki Kiryuin and her formidable Elite Four, who wield powerful Goku Uniforms powered by Life Fibers. Ryuko, clad in the sentient Kamui known as Senketsu, engages in a high-octane battle for truth and revenge against the academy's oppressive hierarchy.
