In the near future, Japan is protected by the Special Law Enforcement Unit Gatchaman, a team of five genetically enhanced individuals who wield the power of the mystical NOTE to fight alien invaders. However, this Gatchaman team is unique, as they can materialize their powers through "Crows". The story follows Hajime Ichinose, a seemingly ordinary high school girl who is recruited into the Gatchaman unit and must learn to harness her own unique potential to protect the world.
