In a reimagining of Hans Christian Andersen's 'The Snow Queen', a young orphan girl named Suzu lives in a magical city where emotions are suppressed. After a mysterious illness caused by a sorcerer named Mengele affects her parents, Suzu embarks on a perilous journey to find a cure, facing enchanted creatures and her own inner demons along the way. She must confront the Snow Queen and her icy grip on the city to restore warmth and joy.

Beautiful You was met with mixed to positive reviews from critics and audiences. While praised for its stunning animation and imaginative world-building, some found the plot to be derivative and less emotionally resonant than previous Studio Ghibli works.
