The Promise

A young woman, desperate to escape her past, assumes a new identity and moves to a small town in Maine. She falls in love with a local carpenter, but her carefully constructed life begins to unravel when a figure from her past reappears, threatening to expose her secrets. As the past and present collide, she must confront her fears and decide whether to run again or stand her ground.
