In the magical kingdom of Auradon, the benevolent King Beast and Queen Belle have united all of their conquered lands and banished the worst of the villains and their sidekicks to the remote Isle of the Lost. Now, the teenage children of these infamous villains - Mal (daughter of Maleficent), Evie (daughter of the Evil Queen), Jay (son of Jafar), and Carlos (son of Cruella de Vil) - are granted permission to leave the Isle and attend Auradon Prep, a prestigious boarding school. They are tasked with helping Prince Ben, the son of Belle and Beast, fulfill his father's promise to give them a chance. As they start their new lives, they wrestle with their villainous legacies and the temptations of their heritage, while also discovering the true meaning of friendship and identity.
