A young woman struggling with addiction comes into possession of an ancient puzzle box, unaware that it opens a gateway to a realm inhabited by sadistic, extradimensional beings known as Cenobites. As she tries to find her missing brother, she becomes entangled in the Cenobites' gruesome rituals, leading to a fight for her soul.
