In 1960s Oregon, a terminally ill young woman named Annabel falls for Enoch, a troubled high school student who has recently lost his parents and is fascinated with death. Their unconventional romance blossoms as they navigate their feelings and the looming specter of mortality. Along with their friend Hiroshi, they engage in unusual activities, including crashing funerals, finding solace and connection in their shared experiences.
