Damned by Dawn

A young woman named Veronica travels to a remote village in Mexico to bury her estranged father. Upon arrival, she discovers that her father was a feared brujo, a sorcerer, and that his death has unleashed a curse upon the village. She must confront the dark magic and ancient rituals that have ensnared her family and the community before it consumes her as well.

Damned by Dawn received a largely negative reception from critics, with many finding its plot confusing and its execution lacking. While some praised its atmospheric elements and attempt at a unique horror narrative, the majority found it to be an underdeveloped and unsatisfying film.
