Angélique

In 17th century France, Angélique de Sancé de Monteloup is a beautiful and spirited young woman secretly in love with a poor poet. However, she is forced into a marriage with the wealthy and feared Count Joffrey de Peyrac. When accusations of witchcraft lead to Joffrey's execution and Angélique's own perilous journey, she must use her intelligence and charm to survive the dangerous Parisian underworld and seek justice.
