Léo, a young Parisian accustomed to a life of ease, is forced to confront his responsibilities when his estranged mother, a vibrant artist, dies suddenly in Los Angeles. He travels to the city of angels to settle her affairs and is drawn into her bohemian world, reconnecting with her friends and discovering a side of her he never knew.
