Two best friends, Steven and Nico, disappear on the eve of Nico's wedding. Weeks later, Steven's parents receive a package containing his brother's journal and a bloody shirt. They learn that Nico had a fascination with a puzzle box, a gateway to a dimension of sadomasochistic demons known as the Cenobites. Steven's parents must venture into this dark realm to rescue their son from eternal torment.
