Lady by Choice

A wealthy socialite, Carol Morgan, feels lonely and decides to adopt a child. However, when she learns that children are not available for adoption, she decides to adopt an old woman instead. She encounters a homeless and penniless woman, Annie, and takes her in. Annie is overjoyed to have a comfortable home, but her presence in Carol's life soon causes a stir among Carol's wealthy acquaintances.
