In a remote research facility, a group of scientists are studying a rare species of vampire bat. When an experiment goes awry, one of the bats mutates, gaining enhanced strength and intelligence. The creature escapes its enclosure and begins to hunt the terrified scientists, turning the facility into a deadly trap.
