Jimmy Livingston, a young man who has lived his entire life in a plastic bubble due to a rare immune deficiency, dreams of attending his high school prom and confessing his love to his childhood crush, Chloe. When Chloe's mother arranges for her to marry a local boy, Jimmy decides to embark on a quest to find her, despite the dangers of the outside world.
