Blood Diamond

In 1999 Sierra Leone, a fisherman named Solomon Vandy is forced to work in diamond mines by rebels who also capture his family and give him a rare pink diamond. Years later, Solomon, now an orphan and separated from his son, crosses paths with Danny Archer, a former soldier and mercenary involved in the illegal diamond trade. Together, they embark on a perilous journey to find the legendary "Serpent's Eye" diamond, which Solomon believes can help him reunite with his family, while Archer seeks to escape Africa with his fortune.
