Grounded God

In a dystopian future ravaged by ecological collapse and corporate greed, a grizzled ex-soldier named Ryoko seeks redemption by protecting a young orphan who holds the key to humanity's survival. Pursued by ruthless enforcers of the ruling technocracy, Ryoko must navigate the treacherous ruins of civilization and confront her own violent past to deliver the child to a rumored sanctuary.

Grounded God was met with a mixed to positive reception upon its release. While some critics lauded its ambitious themes and stunning visual design, others found its pacing uneven and its narrative occasionally convoluted. Audiences were generally more enthralled, appreciating its mature handling of post-apocalyptic themes and its intense action sequences. It has since gained a cult following and is recognized as a significant work in the sci-fi genre.
